Personal information will be collected during on-line communication between you and the dietetist, which communication are made through transmission of an e-mail to the dietetist seeking an answer to a nutrition or weight management related question. Following receipt of general advice on the initial question asked you may chose to pursue with more personalized communication with the dietetist. Consequently, in order to provide you with answers more specifically tailored to such question or to any other question you may have, personal information will have to be provided to the dietetist and will be collected on your electronic « file » (e.g. your name, surname, address, telephone number, age, nutrition habits, weight, physical activity level, etc.). You may engage in an electronic exchange of correspondence with the dietetist namely to be provided with more personalized answers to your questions.
Your personal information may also be collected if you voluntarily register, participate or acquiesce to any advertising contest, promotion, survey, service or specific offer displayed on the Website or if you expressly agree to the collection of such information.____
Personal information collected through your electronic correspondence with the dietetist together with the compilation of electronic messages to and from the dietetist will be archived in a secure fashion in a specific database which shall constitute your « file ». Such « file » may be consulted by the dietetist assigned to your case or any other dietetist involved for follow-up purposes or for the transmission of general interest or personalized newsflash that may be of interest to you (e.g. sliming recipe, specific exercise, etc.). Personal information contained in your « file » may be accessed, modified or withdrawn and your file may be removed from the dietetist's mailing list at any time in the manner described in paragraph 5 of this Policy.
Personal information which may be collected in the context of any advertising contest, promotion, survey, service or specific offer or upon your express agreement, will be collected in electronic format and will be archived in a secure fashion on Danone's server solely for the purposes for which it was collected unless you clearly consent otherwise. If a user wishes to participate in a contest, promotion, survey or specific service or offer without conveying personal information through the Website or if a user wishes to withdraw from an offer or service or modify the profile contained in his/her file, as the case may be, he/she must proceed in the manner described in paragraph 5.
Personal information will only be retained for such period as necessary for fulfilment of the objectives for which it was collected or as required by law. Danone and the dietetist shall under no circumstances rent, sell, disclose nor distribute your personal information to third parties unless they have explicitly obtained your consent prior to such third party communication or if required by law.____
The Website is equipped with data gathering technology (hereinafter: « Cookies ») for the collection and archival of information such as: individual user s' address and/or domain name, type of browser, computer operating system (for example Windows or Mac OS), as well as any related website. The dietetist will communicate the information requested or proceed with the corrections or withdrawal from the list within a reasonable delay from receipt of the request.
Users registered in a contest, promotion, survey or any offer or service may request to consult their file containing their personal information, ask that such information be corrected or that their file be erased, upon reasonable notice. To do so, they must transmit an e-mail to: michele.morin@danone.com specifying the purpose of their message. Danone will communicate the information requested or proceed with the corrections or withdrawal from the list within a reasonable delay from receipt of the request.____
